Mobilizing political good will

The Stop TB partnership Kenya is the single most organization that mobilizes political leadership in Kenya and at the regional level for TB advocacy. The organization currently hosts the secretariat of the Africa Region Parliamentary TB Caucus and the National chapter as well. It supported the establishment of the Africa parliamentary regional caucus through mobilizing resources to support a meeting of MPs from the region for a two day meeting in Nairobi where the Africa regional Caucus was born. The caucus was later to be launched in South Africa where a Kenyan MP was unanimously voted a Kenya to head the Africa TB caucus. The partnership has therefore become the hub of political advocacy for TB in the region.
